Job Overview We are looking for a fun, energetic, friendly, and dependable Front Desk Pro - Customer Service Team Member to join our team! Our front desk is the first point of contact for our athletes, dancers, parents, and visitors, so we are looking for someone who brings positive energy and helps create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment and is comfortable interacting with children and families. This person should be outgoing, approachable, organized, detail oriented and ready to jump in and help wherever needed. Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries promptly and courteously. Assist families with class information, schedules, registration, enrollment, and general program questions. Process registrations, payments, account updates, and other transactions accurately. Maintain a working knowledge of gymnastics, dance, camps, special events, and other programs offered by the facility. Communicate facility policies, procedures, schedules, and important updates clearly and consistently. Help resolve customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when appropriate. Maintain accurate customer and student information in the facility's management software. Assist with attendance, class changes, make-ups, withdrawals, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Keep the front desk, lobby, and customer-facing areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Support coaches, instructors, and management with administrative and operational needs. Assist with special events, competitions, performances, camps, birthday parties, and other facility activities as needed. Protect confidential customer, student, employee, and financial information. Follow all facility safety, security, and child-protection procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of college education. Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, retail, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using computers, email, phone systems, and scheduling or customer-management software. Ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Experience in gymnastics, dance, or youth sports is a plus! Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required. Schedule and Availability Part-time position Available shifts are generally Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM Employees may be scheduled for some or all weekdays based on availability and staffing needs Some Saturdays may be required as needed for special events, competitions, performances, or other facility activities Candidates should be dependable and able to maintain their agreed-upon schedule Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to move throughout the facility as needed. Ability to work in an active and sometimes noisy environment. Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends based on facility needs.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
