Dogwood Animal Clinic Position Title Client Experience Concierge Position Overview Dogwood Animal Clinic is seeking an exceptionally polished, intuitive, and hospitality-driven Greeter to curate an elevated client experience from the moment guests walk through our doors. This position is far more than traditional front desk work — it is a hospitality-focused role centered around warmth, anticipation of needs, emotional intelligence, professionalism, and creating a calm, refined environment for both clients and their pets. The ideal candidate naturally embodies high-end service standards similar to those found in luxury hotels, private clubs, boutique spas, concierge environments, or premium hospitality settings. They understand how to make people feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and comfortable while maintaining poise and professionalism in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Core Responsibilities Provide an elevated, warm, and highly personalized welcome to every client and patient upon arrival Assist clients with check-in flow and direct communication Help clients safely bring pets into the building when needed Maintain a calm, clean, and organized lobby environment Curate a luxury hospitality experience through beverage service, comfort offerings, and thoughtful attention to detail Support overall clinic flow by communicating with the medical team Monitor lobby activity and proactively address client needs Ensure exam rooms and common areas remain presentable throughout the day Assist with light administrative and operational tasks as directed Provide support during high-volume or emotionally sensitive situations Uphold Dogwood's Fear Free and client-centered standards at all times Expectations Exceptionally polished, professional, and emotionally intelligent presentation Strong hospitality mindset with natural warmth and attentiveness Ability to anticipate needs before being asked Calm, composed demeanor in fast-paced or emotionally sensitive situations Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable providing a highly personalized client experience Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Must maintain a refined and professional appearance appropriate for a high-touch environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in veterinary medicine, hospitality, concierge, luxury retail, hotel, or spa settings Experience handling animals preferred Familiarity with high-touch customer service standards Ability to anticipate client and team needs without constant direction Physical Requirements Ability to assist with occasional pet handling and light lifting when needed Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment About Dogwood Dogwood Animal Clinic is a privately owned veterinary practice focused on elevated medicine, exceptional hospitality, and compassionate patient care.
