Job Description

Job Overview :
As a Vacation Planning Expert, you'll be the first point of contact for travelers exploring Stowe. You'll promote local businesses, assist with lodging and activity reservations, and ensure visitors have a memorable experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide reservation quotes, secure bookings, and offer concierge-style follow-up to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage return visits. Act as a knowledgeable and engaging ambassador for Stowe by providing personalized recommendations on local dining, shopping, and attractions tailored to guest preferences via phone, email, and in-person. Promote Stowe Area Association member businesses with confidence, aiming to drive traffic and sales to partner organizations. Assist with gift certificate sales, including processing payments and preparing orders for distribution. Assist with daily center operations including opening/closing, sales, stocking brochures and retail displays, and light cleaning duties as needed. Support the Guest Services Supervisor and other departments with special projects.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong background in customer service. Experience in tourism, hospitality, or marketing a plus. Solid understanding of Stowe's tourism landscape, or willingness to quickly learn about local businesses and experiences. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable using digital tools and technologies. Experience with reservation systems a plus. Able to manage multiple priorities in both fast-paced and slower periods. Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak travel times. Why Join Us?
