Restaurant Cook - Full-Time or Part-Time American Legion Restaurant at Patriots Point Fairhope, Alabama American Legion Eastern Shore Post 199 is seeking dependable Restaurant Cooks to join our kitchen team as we expand our restaurant operations. We are looking for team members who take pride in preparing quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and providing consistent meals our guests will want to come back for. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. Scheduling and hours will be based on the needs of the restaurant as well as the availability and experience of the successful applicant.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards Work grill, fryer, prep, and other kitchen stations as assigned Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation Prepare food efficiently during busy service periods Follow food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with food preparation, stocking, opening, and closing duties Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management Help control waste and use food and supplies responsibly Support restaurant, Tiki, and special-event operations as needed We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and arrives ready to work Works well as part of a team Can remain organized during busy service periods Takes pride in food quality and cleanliness Has flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed Has previous restaurant or commercial-kitchen experience preferred You do not need to be a Veteran or member of the American Legion to apply.
