Job Description
Little Luna Pizza is a brand-new quick service takeout only Pizza restaurant in Bluff Park. At Little Luna Pizza, we are committed to serving the best pizza in Birmingham along with providing a clean, safe, quick, friendly, professional, and fun environment for everyone. We are looking for team members who thrive in kitchen environments and want to be a part of our team. We are a Pizza restaurant that keeps it simple in the kitchen, no complex menu, no fryers, just an electric pizza deck oven. As a back of house team member, you will be tasked with general foodservice preparation, hand tossing pizza dough, preparation of pizzas, salads, and desserts, cleaning, packaging of orders, other kitchen duties necessary for smooth operations, and maintain and fostering a fantastic environment for our guests and fellow team members. Previous pizza, scratch kitchen, and food preparation experience is required. Pay will range from $15 -$20+ based on experience, plus tips. Hours of operation are 11a-8p Tuesday-Sunday. Please note, this position is part time Servesafe is preferred but not required Must have or be willing to acquire JCDH Food handler card Job duties Include but are not limited to General food/ingredient preparation Hand tossing pizza dough Pizza making Salad Creation Cleaning Restocking Packing orders Job may require lifting up to 50 lbs Get in on the ground floor of this new pizza restaurant and be apart of something new in our great city.
