Cook / Kitchen Staff - Gourmet Burger Restaurant Arlington Cattle Co. is hiring experienced Cook / Kitchen Staff! We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our fast-paced gourmet burger restaurant. Applicants must have previous grill and line-cook experience and be comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment. Previous management or leadership experience is preferred and may provide opportunities for advancement within the company. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the food they prepare, works well with a team, can handle a busy rush, and understands the importance of consistency, cleanliness, and great customer service. Restaurant or commercial kitchen experience Previous management, shift lead, or leadership experience is preferred Flexible availability Tuesday through Sunday Ability to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as needed Dependable and punctual Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy service periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures Knowledge of proper food handling and food-safety practices Responsibilities Cook burgers and other menu items on a grill/flat-top Work efficiently on the kitchen line during service Prepare food according to recipes and company standards Maintain consistent food quality, portions, and presentation Manage multiple orders at once during busy periods Complete daily food prep and maintain proper prep levels Follow proper cooking temperatures and food-safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Stock and restock kitchen stations as needed Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Properly rotate and store food products Help monitor product levels and minimize food waste Communicate with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to keep orders moving efficiently Assist other team members and stations when needed
