Brewery & Distillery - 3.9 Gilbert, AZ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $23 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid parental leave Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Parental leave Vision insurance Employee discount Paid sick time Qualifications Food service health code compliance Food Handler Certification Full Job Description We are looking for dependable, hard-working Line Cooks who take pride in preparing great food and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. In this role, you'll work as part of a fast-paced BOH team to prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes, quality standards, and timing expectations. Depending on your experience, you may be assigned to stations such as sauté, grill, fry, pantry, or prep. You'll work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and the rest of the kitchen team to keep service organized, consistent, and moving. At O.H.S.O., teamwork matters. We are looking for cooks who communicate well, stay focused under pressure, and are always willing to help the team get the job done. Responsibilities Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, preparing sauces, and handling proteins Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest requests Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered on time Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen leadership Maintain proper food quality, portioning, and presentation Keep stations clean, organized, and ready for service Properly label, store, rotate, and care for leftover food Restock inventory and supplies as needed Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team Qualifications Current Food Handler's Card Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to teamwork and communication Dependable and punctual Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures Ability to stand and remain active for six to nine hours at a time Ability to safely lift, bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Pay $16.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees who average at least 30 hours per week after 12 months of employment Health Savings Account with employer contribution for eligible employees Paid sick leave Paid parental leave for eligible full-time employees Free employee meal during each shift worked 50% employee discount on food and merchandise Access to earned wages before payday through our pay-on-demand program Annual employee holiday party O.H.S.O. came to be when the three of us-Pat, Brian, and Jon-joined forces, blending our talents and shared passions. Our paths all converged while working at one of those establishments. Jon began as a door guy and quickly advanced, transitioning into roles as a bartender and manager until finally joining Brian in overseeing daily operations. Similarly, Pat made his mark as a sound guy, showcasing his talent for creating an exceptional atmosphere and booking bands while also being a musician. Driven by our shared joy of uniting people through food, drinks, and experiences, we knew we wanted to go beyond simply serving drinks. We aimed to create them and wanted our guests to be part of that magic too.
