The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling and meal preparation, with a strong background in the food service industry. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all meals meet our fine dining standards. Your expertise will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices within the kitchen. Participate in training new staff members on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook or grill cook in a restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred. Knowledge of dietary aide practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
