Duties Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with food safety regulations. Operate point-of-sale (POS) system(s) such to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and hygienic at all times. Assist in food handling tasks including stocking supplies, managing food prep stations, and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed. Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality. Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS is a plus; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team environment. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous but not mandatory. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
