Job Description
Overview Fellowship Square is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team and help provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. In this role, you will prepare nutritious and flavorful meals for residents in our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care dining facilities, ensuring that each dish meets dietary needs and personal preferences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and resident dietary requirements. Ensure food is prepared in accordance with health and safety guidelines, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration residents' dietary preferences, allergies, and medical needs. Ensure timely meal service for residents, maintaining a high standard of presentation. Assist with inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen stock levels. Work collaboratively with the dietary team, dining staff, and management to ensure smooth meal service. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to safety and health regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Qualifications Must hold a current Arizona Food Handlers Sanitation card. Have at least two years in institutional cooking. Course in food production, sanitation, and safety preferred. Vocational or technical education desirable. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Must understand, speak, read, and write fluent English. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
