Culinary Creation:
Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and production plans, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.Resourceful Cooking:
Utilize whole food products efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing flavor.Kitchen Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.Proactive Communication:
Alert the chef or supervisor promptly about any equipment malfunctions, food overages, or shortages.Inventory Management:
Requisition inventory and receive supplies as needed for daily production.Proper Storage:
Ensure proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.Safe Practices:
Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures.What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 months of related experience in a professional kitchen or equivalent training. We're also willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for food! Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Food Safety and Sanitation Training/Certification.The Environment:
Our kitchen is a fast-paced, energetic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. You'll be working alongside a dedicated team of culinary professionals who are passionate about food. Be prepared to work near hot ovens, moving mechanical parts, and occasionally in cooler or outdoor environments. You will report to the Executive Chef and other department leaders.Benefits & Other Compensation:
