Duties Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual needs Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards Step into various classrooms as needed to support teachers with lesson implementation, child engagement, and classroom management Support early childhood development activities by facilitating age-appropriate play, literacy, math, and physical education exercises Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, meal plans, and children's progress or concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare are prioritized at all times Assist in implementing curriculum development strategies that promote childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills Qualifications Fully Qualified with core units in Child Development Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments Knowledge of early intervention strategies, childhood development principles, and behavior management techniques Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly as a floater teacher across different age groups Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration Ability to follow health regulations and mandated reporting laws diligently Prior experience in childcare, preschool teaching, or private school environments is highly desirable Join us in creating a vibrant learning community where children thrive!
