Part-Time Line Cook (Flexible Schedule) Tres LA Group - 3.5 West Hollywood, CA Job Details Part-time $25 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Part-Time Event Line Cook (Flexible Schedule) Très L.A. is looking for skilled, dependable Event Cooks to join our part-time culinary team for catered events at the Pacific Design Center , Très L.A. Bistro & Bar, and other event locations throughout Los Angeles. This role is ideal for experienced cooks looking to pick up high-quality shifts alongside another job or commitment. Shifts are scheduled in advance but vary based on events and business needs, so strong evening and weekend availability is essential. What You'll Do Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and chef direction Support hot-line, pantry, buffet, action-station, and plated-event service as assigned Maintain quality, presentation, temperature, and timing standards throughout service Set up, stock, break down, clean, and organize assigned kitchen stations Assist with packing, loading, unloading, and transporting culinary equipment and food as needed Work closely with chefs and event teams to ensure smooth, timely service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies What We're Looking For Prior line cook, banquet cook, catering, or high-volume event culinary experience Comfortable working a variety of stations and adapting to different menus, venues, and service styles Strong knife skills, organization, sense of urgency, and attention to detail Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a fast-paced culinary team Comfortable with physically active work, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading, setup, breakdown, and cleaning duties Reliable transportation and availability for nights, weekends, and occasional late shifts—sometimes as late as 1 :00 AM Flexibility to pick up scheduled shifts as business needs arise Current Food Handler Card required If you take pride in thoughtful food, clean execution, and creating memorable events, we'd love to hear from you. jOFvTYruyX
