Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming food and supply deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, and portioning to facilitate meal preparation Assist with menu planning by organizing ingredients needed for daily service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and refrigeration units safely and efficiently Support food preparation activities by following recipe instructions precisely and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal production and efficient workflow during service hours Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards in production, and food safety management practices Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations beneficial Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep methods Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations Familiarity with culinary principles, food industry standards, and restaurant environment practices Join our team to play a key role in delivering delicious meals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
