Job Description
Position Overview Kings River Golf & Country Club is looking for a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing quality food, works well with others, and can maintain a clean and organized kitchen in a busy country club environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards Set up, stock, and maintain assigned kitchen stations Prepare ingredients for daily service Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Keep kitchen stations, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service Assist with club events, banquets, and special functions as needed Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Maintain adequate food and supplies at assigned stations Follow all Kings River Golf & Country Club kitchen policies and procedures Qualifications Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong teamwork and communication skills Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques Ability to follow recipes and instructions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary Positive attitude and willingness to learn Schedule 20-30 Hours per week Weekend and holiday availability are required.
