Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook, saute and prep cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team. you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes, while adhering to food safety standards. This is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to work efficiently under pressure is essential.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and gathering other necessary items. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team. Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized at all times. Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized work station. Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to place orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain high-quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook/prep/saute in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
