Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Help with catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service to guests. Utilize culinary skills, including knife techniques, to create visually appealing dishes. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. A passion for commitment to delivering high-quality cuisine. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Must be an experienced breakfast cook who can handle a high-volume kitchen.
