Job Description

Job Details The Ravine Club is a Dodgers-loving sports bar and restaurant opening this fall in Echo Park, steps from Dodger Stadium. Our kitchen runs a full line, pizzas, burgers, tacos, wings, and more, at high volume on game days. We're looking for
LINE COOKS
who can hold a station under pressure and put out consistent, high-quality food all night long. Hours & Compensation Full Time, Hourly $20-$23/hour plus tips (pooled)

Dining Discount, Flexible Schedule Primary Requirements 2+ years line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen; Ability to work multiple stations (grill, fry, saute, pizza) as needed; Strong knife skills and understanding of proper food handling and sanitation; Ability to read and execute recipes and plating specs consistently; Food Handler card, or willingness to obtain before start date; A team-first attitude, this is a fast kitchen and everyone covers everyone; and Availability to work nights, weekends and Dodger home games (including some day games). Primary Responsibilities Preps and executes menu items according to recipe, portion, and plating specifications; Adapts to prep or line execution depending on scheduling needs; Maintains assigned station throughout service, keeping pace with ticket volume; Communicates with expo and other stations to ensure timely, coordinated ticket times; Monitors food quality and consistency, flagging issues before dishes leave the kitchen; Maintains cleanliness and organization of station, coolers, and shared kitchen areas; Follows all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and labeling; Restocks and requisitions station supplies as needed throughout service; and Supports opening and closing kitchen side work, including breakdown and cleaning. Work Environment Involves standing and walking for the entire shift; Involves exposure to heat, open flame, and hot equipment; Involves frequent lifting, carrying, and reaching up to 50 pounds; and Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, especially during televised games.
