In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards for quality and safety. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, slicers, ovens, stoves, and food processors Follow strict food safety protocols and handle food properly to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service flow Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus Knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is advantageous Skilled in food handling, safety standards in production, and recipe adherence Strong knife skills with slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep Experience with meal preparation, catering, or food industry roles demonstrating culinary competence Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary career while contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment.
