Duties Assist in menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing meal options that meet dietary guidelines and customer preferences Prepare and cook meals with skillful knife techniques, food handling, and food safety practices Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to residents or customers Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, portioning, and plating to ensure timely delivery of meals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment Contribute to catering events by assisting with meal assembly, presentation, and serving logistics Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and kitchen operations Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make an impact every day!
