This position will primarily be responsible for steaming Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings), dim sum, buns, dumplings, and other steamed items according to our standardized procedures. This is a fast-paced station that requires excellent timing, accuracy, memory, and attention to detail . ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Operate and manage the dim sum steaming station during service Steam Xiao Long Bao, dumplings, buns, and other dim sum items Strictly follow established SOPs, steaming times, temperatures, and portion standards Keep track of multiple orders and different steaming times simultaneously Ensure every item is cooked and served at the correct timing and quality Coordinate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Assist with other kitchen duties when needed Qualifications Previous dim sum, steaming station, or Chinese kitchen experience preferred Must be fast, accurate, organized, and detail-oriented Strong memory and ability to manage multiple orders at the same time Must be able to strictly follow recipes and SOPs — no guessing on cooking or steaming times Quick hands and able to work efficiently during high-volume service Reliable, hardworking, and responsible Strong sense of timing and urgency Join our team to bring authentic dim sum experiences to life!
