In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appealing meals and snacks tailored to young children's dietary needs while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to our menu and dietary guidelines Ensure that all food is prepared in a clean and sanitary environment Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Serve meals to children and ensure proper portion sizes Maintain kitchen equipment and storage areas Monitor food inventory and report any shortages or issues Work closely with preschool staff to ensure all food preferences and dietary restrictions are met Assist with special meal planning for events or holidays Requirements Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role within a childcare or educational setting preferred Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations required by local health authorities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety Ability to work well with young children and be part of a collaborative team Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods

Riverside County Food Handler Certificate (Required) CDSS Mandated Reporter Certificate (Required) Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification (Preferred) Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
