Job Description

Blue Plate - Petaluma, CA Blue Plate is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a fast-paced American restaurant. We're looking for someone who takes pride in the food they put out and understands how to work efficiently as part of a line. What We're Looking For Previous line cook experience in a busy restaurant Experience cooking food to order Able to call and communicate tickets with other cooks Understands ticket timing and order sequencing so the entire table comes out together Strong attention to food quality, plating, and plate cleanliness Checks plates for accuracy and presentation before they leave the kitchen Able to follow recipes, portions, and restaurant standards consistently Works well with other cooks and helps the team during a rush Organized and able to handle multiple tickets at once Reliable and punctual : consistently shows up for scheduled shifts Breakfast experience is a big plus , especially eggs, omelets, pancakes, breakfast meats etc. Experience in a diner, breakfast restaurant, American restaurant or other high-volume kitchen is preferred.
Pay:
$21-$24/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
