JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Cook with a strong culinary background, who is organized, honest and have a positive attitude to join a great team in our Nursing Home in San Bernardino. This position is responsible for cooking from a specified menu. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Maintain an orderly and clean kitchen. Able to effectively interact with patients, and team members professionally.

JOB DUTIES

Prepare, cook and plate food accurately, maintaining high-quality standards. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Prepare and plate food accordingly. Manage food/supplies inventory Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen Keep workstation and kitchen clean at all times (appliances, surfaces, floor etc).

QUALIFICATIONS

2 Years of Professional Cooking Experience Culinary degree highly desirable Nursing skill Professional Cooking Experience a plus. Must be service and safety oriented and possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, common sense. Ability to interact effectively with all staff and resident in a professional manner Cooperative with a positive attitude Pass background check
