Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards throughout all food handling processes Assist with meal preparation, portioning, slicing techniques, and plating to ensure timely service Follow proper food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and maintain smooth workflow during busy service times Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of menu items as needed Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary aide practices and menu planning is a plus Strong food preparation skills including slicing techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Understanding of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling procedures Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to meal preparation guidelines Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Previous experience in the food industry or culinary settings demonstrates a solid foundation for success in this role Join us in delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
