Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other appliances safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Ensure all food handling practices adhere to health regulations and safety standards Support food production for catering events or large orders with high-volume production experience Follow recipe adherence meticulously to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food safety management Experience with dietary aide tasks or dietary department procedures is a plus Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper kitchen hygiene practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely under pressure in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume production environments preferred Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and recipe adherence Join us as a Pizza Cook and bring your culinary creativity to life!
