What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare and serve meals for residents in accordance with dietary needs Ensure accuracy, quality, presentation, and timeliness of food items Modify meals as directed to meet individual nutritional requirements Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen Perform other duties as needed to support the culinary teamQualifications:
High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required Minimum 1 year of experience in food preparation and cooking (grilling, sautéing, broiling, frying, baking) Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health Knowledge of food safety regulations Effective communicator in verbal and written English Ability to read and follow menus and recipes, including substitutions Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards Comfortable working around animals and pets Why Choose Silverado? Full Time, multiple shifts, Sunday and Monday 9:30am- 6:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 6:00am
- 2:30pm Anticipated pay range $23
