The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our club's standards while ensuring food safety and proper handling practices.
Who we are:
We are a private club that serves the Veterans of the Military Branches located in Arvada, Co. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist in menu planning and development, providing input on seasonal offerings. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the culinary field. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
