Roaring Fork Senior Living, Glenwood Springs' premier senior living community, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our on-site, from-scratch kitchens. In this role, you will prepare and cook made-to-order meals that delight our residents and guests, supporting a high-quality dining experience. This position is required to work at least one weekend day. Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare all food according to the menu under the direction of the Executive Chef Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes Communicates frequently and professionally with other line cooks, chef, managers, and front of house team members Adheres to all safety and sanitation standards Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated

Qualifications:

Prior kitchen experience Requires knowledge of special diets Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$20.00-$22.00 an hour, based on experience
