Job Description

Guest House Retreat & Conference Center, located in Chester CT, has an immediate opening for a part time Prep/Dining Services Associate. The ideal candidate lives locally and is self-motivated, energetic, a team player, and demonstrates a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will possess a commitment to customer service excellence. This position receives and hourly wage and pooled tips from guests. The Dining Services Associate position reports to the Executive Chef. The part time work schedule varies and is based on the events schedule. Must be available days, evenings or weekends as needed. The selected candidate will undergo criminal and employment background checks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to: Positive, friendly and respectful attitude toward guests and other employees Buffet set up and break down Serving food from Buffet to Guests and Staff Cleaning and maintaining the dining areas, kitchen work areas and equipment Restocking dining room amenities, condiments, and hot and cold drink stations Washing and restocking dishes, pots, pans and silverware General food prep as assigned Support in housekeeping and/or facilities departments as assigned Other tasks as assigned by management English verbal and written fluency Local residency preferred (southern Middlesex County & immediate area) Dependable transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
