. We are looking for a reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook to become a key part of our kitchen crew. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and safety. Whether you're experienced in the food industry or eager to learn, your contribution will help deliver delicious meals to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients through proper slicing, dicing, and portioning using knife skills and slicing techniques. Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines. Assist with meal preparation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and other appliances. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to meet food safety standards. Follow food handling procedures carefully to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety management. Support inventory management by organizing supplies, rotating stock, and reporting shortages or issues promptly. Skills Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is highly desirable; experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus. Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation. Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling practices. Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across dishes. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
