Join our Food & Beverage team as a Full-Time Cook and help us provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. This flexible position is ideal for an experienced cook looking to pick up shifts as needed, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Based on staffing needs, per diem employees understand that shifts are not guaranteed. What You'll Do As a Full-Time Cook, you will: Prepare soups, stocks, sauces, and menu items according to standardized recipes. Cook and serve sautéed, grilled, baked, fried, and steamed dishes with attention to quality and presentation. Prepare food for residents, guests, and special dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety. Ensure food is prepared and served at appropriate temperatures and in a timely manner. Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and freshness throughout production. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Follow all food handling, safety, and infection control procedures. Work collaboratively with the culinary team to provide exceptional service. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Culinary degree required. At least three years of cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, club, healthcare, senior living, or similar setting. Food Handler Certification preferred. Ability to read recipes, follow instructions, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
