Cook Responsibilities of Cook:

Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes. Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and assure that all foods meet the required serving temperatures Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards. Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.

Qualifications of Cook:

Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment. Knowledge of quantity cooking. ServSafe certified One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
