Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet food safety and sanitation standards Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish preparation and ingredient needs Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality control during meal production Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchens with a focus on food safety management Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across dishes Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen team members Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is highly desirable Understanding of safety standards in food production environments and proper food handling procedures Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will be valued, your creativity encouraged, and your contributions celebrated!
Pay:
