You don't need years of professional cooking experience. We're looking for someone who is comfortable in a kitchen, understands basic cooking techniques, can follow recipes, works clean and organized, and is willing to learn our menu and the way we do things. Our menu consists of made-to-order breakfast and lunch items including breakfast wraps, eggs, bacon, steak, pan con bistec, smash burgers, breakfast burgers, hash browns and more. Weekend availability is especially important , as Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food to order Work a flat-top grill Prepare burgers, steak, eggs, bacon, breakfast items, sandwiches and wraps Complete basic food prep before and during service Follow recipes and portion sizes to keep food consistent Keep your cooking area clean and organized Restock ingredients and communicate when supplies are running low Work efficiently and stay organized during busy periods Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures Help with opening and closing duties Work with the cashier to keep orders accurate and moving Learn new menu items as they are introduced What We're Looking For Basic kitchen or cooking experience Comfortable using a grill or flat-top Willing and able to learn our menu Weekend availability Reliable transportation to Davie Dependable and punctual Clean and organized Able to work at a good pace when busy Comfortable working independently when needed Good communication and a positive attitude Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain one Pay & Schedule Starting pay: $16/hour + tips Part-time to start, with the opportunity for additional hours, increased pay and more responsibility based on performance, reliability and business needs.
