Food Truck Cook The Bamboo Grove | Davie, FL Position Overview The Bamboo Grove is looking for a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented Cook to join our food truck team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you'll help prepare food, take customer orders, keep the food truck organized, and provide friendly customer service. Previous cooking or food service experience is preferred, but not required. Paid training will be provided. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to menu standards and recipes Prep ingredients and maintain an organized food preparation area Take customer orders and process payments through the POS system Assemble and serve orders accurately and efficiently Provide friendly and professional customer service Keep the food truck clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures Assist with opening and closing procedures Work efficiently during busy periods and events Communicate effectively with other team members Help with additional food truck duties as needed Qualifications Previous cooking, food service, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required Willingness to learn and take direction Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and responsible Friendly and customer-service oriented Able to work well as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors and in a food truck environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required of the position What We Offer Paid training Flexible scheduling Fast-paced and team-oriented work environment Opportunities to work special events and activities at The Bamboo Grove Opportunity to grow with the team Schedule Flexible schedule with availability needed for weekdays, weekends, and events as scheduled.
