You will be instrumental in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety procedures to deliver delicious, consistent meals. Support kitchen management in supervising daily food production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards. Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and hygiene practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with inventory control, and helping with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in menu planning and catering preparations, ensuring all dietary requirements are met with precision and care. Help oversee shift operations, including supervising team members, managing food service timelines, and maintaining a positive team atmosphere. Support the implementation of cost control measures while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Qualifications Previous experience in food production or food service management is preferred; banquet, catering, or fine dining experience is a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles within a kitchen or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, kitchen management, and inventory control. Hands-on culinary experience with an understanding of menu planning, food handling, and cooking techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead others effectively. Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality environments, including restaurant management or shift management responsibilities. Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
