Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, knives, and slicing tools Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety standards and food safety management protocols Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for daily service or special catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and meet service timelines Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills including slicing techniques Experience with dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and kitchen staff Join us as a Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
