We are searching for a cook to work in the cafe from 8am-4pm 5 days a week. The position requires running the food but tips are included plus the hourly pay. Duties Prepare and cook a wide range of meals following established recipes and menu guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain strict food safety standards in handling, storage, and preparation to ensure health compliance Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal options Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support catering operations by preparing large quantities of food for events or special functions Experience Proven food preparation and cooking experience in restaurant or food industry settings Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Skilled in knife handling, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence for consistent quality Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards Experience with meal prep, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and team members We value energetic professionals eager to bring creativity, precision, and passion to every plate.
