Flamingoz A Taste of Miami is looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fryers and plating popular menu items such as chicken wings, empanadas, fries, and other appetizers. Experience with grill (chicken, steak, salmon, shrimp) is also a plus. This is a great opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, energetic company that values creativity, teamwork, and quality.

Responsibilities:

Operate fryers and prepare plated items accurately and efficiently Assemble dishes to company specifications with attention to presentation and portioning Maintain cleanliness of the line and kitchen area throughout the shift Assist with restocking ingredients, sauces, and other prep items as needed Ensure all items are fresh, labeled, and meet quality control standards Follow and uphold all food safety and sanitation protocols Stay informed on current menu items and assist in creating and executing specials Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

Proven experience working in a kitchen or line cook position (fryer experience preferred) Food handling and safety certification is a plus Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and sense of urgency Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Must be able to follow recipes and kitchen procedures This is a drug-free workplace — applicants may be subject to drug testing
