Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and menu specifications Assist in assembling dishes during meal service, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness of workstations by following proper sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules throughout the shift Support the kitchen team with food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure meal consistency and quality control Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service delivery Experience Previous experience is highly desirable Food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques Skills in knife handling, slicing techniques, and general culinary skills are essential Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
