Job Summary WinnMed is seeking a Cook to join our Nutrition Services Department ! In this role, you'll help prepare, cook, serve, deliver, and package meals for patients, staff, and visitors. You'll also operate the cash register and dishwashing machine while helping provide friendly, quality service to our customers. Position Details:

0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) Benefits eligible Varied shifts between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation Requirements High school degree or equivalent preferred. Courses in modified diets and quantity cooking, food safety and sanitation are beneficial. Basic computer skills are beneficial.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in food service or culinary roles within healthcare, restaurant, or food industry settings. Knowledge of dietary department procedures, menu planning, and food safety management. Proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing, portioning, and recipe adherence. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with kitchen staff and other departments. Experience with cleaning protocols and maintaining a hygienic work environment.
