We're looking for a Part-Time Weekend Line Cook who understands that good food and genuine hospitality can make a meaningful difference in someone's day. What You'll Do As part of our kitchen team, you'll help provide consistent, quality meals for the people who call our Shelter Home home.

You will:

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards Help create food that is nourishing, welcoming, and served with care Set up, stock, and maintain your station for efficient meal service Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for the next meal Work collaboratively with kitchen and Shelter Home staff Help with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and other kitchen needs Treat every guest, coworker, and community member with dignity and respect We're Looking For Someone Who Is dependable, punctual, and committed to showing up for their team Enjoys preparing food and takes pride in doing things well Can stay calm, organized, and productive in a busy kitchen Works well with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences Understands the importance of hospitality and treating people with dignity Can follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety practices Is available to work weekends consistently Has previous kitchen or line-cook experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Why This Work Matters Our guests have a safe place to be morning, noon, and night, with meals, showers, laundry, medical care, an address of their own, and people ready to help.
