The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen team to keep service organized and consistent during busy restaurant hours. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Set up, stock, and maintain assigned kitchen stations. Monitor cooking times, temperatures, portions, and food presentation. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to keep orders moving efficiently. Prepare ingredients and sauces needed for daily service. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures. Check food quality before dishes are sent to guests. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen ingredients. Help with closing and cleaning duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant. Strong attention to food quality and consistency. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow recipes and kitchen instructions accurately. Reliable availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
