In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes, safety standards, and food handling procedures. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, stoves, and other appliances Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure timely meal service Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure smooth operation during busy periods Follow food handling procedures to uphold safety standards in all aspects of food production Support catering and special event meal preparations as needed Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong culinary skills Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Skilled in food preparation techniques including slicing, chopping, and cooking methods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Understanding of food safety management and proper food handling procedures Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal quality Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is desirable Strong knife skills and slicing techniques essential for efficient prep work Prior dietary or culinary experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant environment where your skills make a real difference!
