Position Overview The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to Lo Key's standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in consistency, presentation, and quality. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Set up and maintain your assigned station before, during, and after service
Properly portion, season, cook, and plate food
Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
Complete daily prep and restocking as needed
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
Properly store, label, and date food products
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff
Assist with opening and closing duties
Minimize food waste and properly handle kitchen equipment
Follow all health department and restaurant safety standards
