PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our team at West Chicago Living and Rehab Center LLC in Wheaton, IL. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents and staff. Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations Follow written and oral instructions to ensure the preparation of foods, liquids, and dietary methods meet high standards Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of food service and sanitation practices Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards Meet daily production targets and manage time effectively to ensure timely meal service Collaborate with the Food Service Supervisor and Administrator to ensure smooth operations and achieve departmental goalsRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1 year of experience as a cook in a healthcare setting or similar environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Food service and sanitation license and/or certification Strong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
