This position offers flexible scheduling with part-time to full-time hours available , based on business needs Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting creative culinary ideas to enhance the dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols Handle food with care, utilizing proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours, supporting overall restaurant operations Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed Requirements Proven experience in a kitchen environment, including restaurant or food industry roles such as dietary aide or dietary department experience Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures Demonstrated culinary experience in fine dining or similar upscale settings is highly desirable Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential Availability for evenings (league nights are typically Tuesday/Thursday, plus weekends) Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail 3+ years or prior line cook in a club, hotel, or high-volume restaurant, catering or serving is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts and eager to bring your skills into a vibrant kitchen environment!
