Job Description
Adecco is currently assisting the KY Dam Village State Resort Park in Gilbertsville, KY to fill several Cook positions. This is a long-term immediate need opportunity. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Pay Rate:
$14.00 per hour, paid weekly Must have flexible schedule, weekends will be required Responsibilities for these positions include:- Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
- Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours.
- Prepares all special dietary need as directed by the menus.
- Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld.
- Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
- Tastes and prepares food to determine quality.
- Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees.
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Attends all in-services as required.
- Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling.
- Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules.
- Washing dishes and pans
- Clean and sanitize
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fine dining preferred.
- Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferred.
