Our Food Specialists… Create home-style, nutritional meal plans that are appealing to the children in the boundaries of our school's budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Manage time well. Making sure meals are served at scheduled times. Follow quarterly menus that meet the USDA guidelines. Prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children based on the proportions outlined by the USDA. Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed. Properly wash and sanitize dishes. Keeps center kitchen organized and cleaned. Good with organizing, problem solving, record keeping, and time management. Rewarded with hugs from children and praise form parents every day! Caring, compassionate and love what they do! Work hours are 7:00-1:00 We are most interested in talking to applicants that have: 1 year of work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare facility Knowledge about the Department of Health's regulations An understanding of all current state and local regulations A High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable transportation
